Field Pass Up in Time in Dania Beach

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Trainer Mike Maker, who won last week’s $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf (G1) with Zulu Alpha, won another stakes races on the turf Saturday when he saddled Three Diamonds Farm’s Field Pass to victory in the $100,000 Dania Beach, one of five stakes races Saturday afternoon at Gulfstream Park.

Ridden by Paco Lopez, Field Pass drove between South Bend and Get Smokin in the final yards to win his second race in seven starts. The son of Lemon Drop Kid covered a firm mile turf course in 1:37.70.
