Belmont Derby, Oaks Contenders; Get Stars & Stripes Wagering Guide

This Saturday, the Stars & Stripes Festival returns to Belmont Park, and with it come the debuts of the Turf Trinity and the Turf Tiara as part part of the first-ever Turf Triple Series offering $5.25 million in purses. The Festival’s co-headlining events are a pair of prestigious grass Grade 1 races for 3-year-olds: the $1.2 million Belmont Derby Invitational (Turf Trinity) and the $1 million Belmont Oaks Invitational for fillies (Turf Tiara), both at 1 1/4 miles.
