Race 7: $25,000 Claiming for 3-year-olds and upward going 6 furlongs on the inner turf

#3 Kitten’s Cat ran at this level last time out for Linda Rice finishing third up at Saratoga. He now moves to Jermemiah Englehart’s barn where he will look to make a solid first impression. Englehart is winning at 17% at the Claiming levels in the last 365 days. #4 McErin continues to free-fall after a promising 2019. He hasn’t been the same, but this is a precipitous drop in class. Hopefully he finds his form on the turf that he once had in 2018/2019.

Race 8: $35,000 Claiming for 3-year-olds and upward going 1 mile (8 furlongs) on the widener turf

#5 The Last Zip won at the Maiden Special Weight level back in 2019 here at Belmont Park going a mile. Let’s see if Joel Rosario can give him the ride he gave him on that day. #9 Southern Bridge won his last race at the Claiming level on August 16 at Saratoga. This is the spot where he ultimately belongs.

Race 9: $80,000 Allowance Optional Claiming for 3-year-old fillies going 1 1/16 miles (8 1/2 furlongs) on the inner turf

After #3 Crystalle won her debut, she was quickly thrown into Stakes competition. She won the P. G. Johnson last year and finished second in the Miss Grillo Stakes. This is her first start since 2019 so how she performs off the layoff is a big question mark. #4 Capital Structure was considered to be one of the lesser Chad Brown runners since she made her debut at Monmouth Park. After winning in her debut, this is a big step up in class.

Race 10: $30,000 Maiden Claiming for New York-bred fillies and mares 3-year-olds and upward going 6 furlongs on the dirt

#9 Mind of Gold ran well on a fast dirt track at Monmouth Park on August 23. If we throw out her debut and focus on the second race, she has every reason to win this race. #13 Love Me Tomorrow is one of those horses that will take a ton of money but cant be relied upon. She has three seconds and four thirds in her life which no excuses not to win. I DO NOT WANT HER TO BEAT ME!
