Race 7: Allowance

#3 Victory Money will try the turf today after a decent start to his career over the dirt. His pedigree suggests he should handle the turf. #2 Battle Scars has been consistent in several starts over the turf. He runs for Atras for the first time today, which should lead to improvement. We will also use #4 Gem Mint Ten on the ticket.

Race 8: Vagrancy Stakes

#3 Carmel Swirl returns from a layoff today after a poor effort in her last start. Her best race is better than this group. #6 Dr B goes for two in a row in this spot after winning a stakes at Aqueduct in her last start. She is usually pretty sharp at this distance.

Race 9: Maiden Claiming

#1 Cynwyd returns from a layoff today, but takes a major drop in class, and should be able to handle this field with a solid effort. #9 Eddiemush debuts in this spot for a trainer who is sharp with first time starters, while Irad Ortiz, Jr. gets the mount, which is a good sign.
