Horses may be our thing, but we are huge sports fans and always looking for a great betting opportunity. Each weekend we take a look over all college and NFL football games and give you our top plays. Resident sports gambling degenerate Austin Elsey is here to help us out as well.

Last Weekend: 3-2

Overall Record: 5-5

The dog days of gambling. These are my favorite dogs this week.

NCAAF: Texas +2.5: Oklahoma State has struggled to put a good product on the field this year. And Texas is finally playing at a level worthy of their talent.

NCAAF: Wisconsin +10.5: I don’t think Wisconsin comes away with a win this weekend but they keep it respectable. They have been underestimated all year and I think it’s time to take advantage of it.

NFL: Cleveland +7.5: I think it is the weekend where 0-3 teams get some wins. Pryor was all about hyping his team. Do they win the rest of their games this year, no. I mean they are still the Browns. But does his attitude get some momentum for his team, yes.

NFL: New York Jets +2.5: Seattle has to travel across country and Wilson and the RBs are banged up. Seattle hasn’t been very exciting this year but is sure to put something together by the end of the year. But this game belongs to the home team.

NFL: New Orleans +4.0: What’s better than getting another great soundbite from Coach Mora? The Saints getting their first win. Brees continue to put up points but they struggle on the other side of the ball. San Diego doesn’t have the fire power to take advantage of the weak D and the Saints will steam roll the Chargers.

A winning record last week and moving up to .500 for the season shows that we are ready to be in the black. Let’s do this doggy-style!

Last Weekend: 2-3

Overall Record: 4-5-1

NCAAF: Ohio -3: It’s everyone’s FAVORITE rivalry!!  Ohio vs. Miami, OH!  Ohio looks to be the better team by far this year so they are worth a play.

NCAAF: Wisconsin/Michigan OVER 45.5: Michigan can score, and Wisconsin is better offensively than they have been in years past.  Not expecting a shootout, but it’s should go over 45.5.

NFL: Carolina -3.5: The Panthers need a better showing after a dismal effort last weekend.  They’ll get back to their winning ways in a big way at Atlanta

NFL: Pittsburgh -5.5: Tough spot for the Chiefs as they have to go to Pittsburgh on Sunday Night with Pittsburgh coming off a loss.

NFL: Minnesota: -4.5: This Vikings defense has been great so far, and QB Sam Bradford is off to a very good start.  Minnesota is tough at home.

Overall Record: 4-6

NCAAF: Oklahoma -3.5: Coming off a much needed bye week they jump into Big 12 action where I think they could still run the table. Not a believer in TCU and the Sooners haven’t lost back-to-back regular season games under Bob Stoops since October 1999. Give me the Sooners in a high scoring game that gets out of hand late.

NFL: New England -7.5: At this point does it really matter who suits up for the Pats as long as the Hoodie is running the show? I get how you might want to play the Bills after that big win last week against the Cardinals but, honestly, that makes me want to fade them even harder in this spot. Garoppolo, Brissett, Edelman. I don’t care who plays QB. I refuse to bet against the Pats.

NFL: Cleveland +7.5: The Redskins are not good enough to cover 7.5 against a scrappy Browns team, who, at the very least have battled hard in losing efforts the past two weeks. Tempted to bet them outright (+280 ML) but I will stick with the points and enjoy the security instead.

NFL: Denver -3: Seriously? Again with getting no respect here. I played them last week straight up (+155 ML) and enjoyed. What I didn’t expect to see last week was the offensive firepower from the Broncos as well. They have it all and giving 3 to the Bucs is an absolute gift.

NFL: Minnesota -4.5: It’s official. The Vikings defense is legit. Shutdown the Packers at home was impressive. To next travel to Carolina and shutdown Cam and the Panthers is unreal. Now we have Eli and the Giants coming to town on MNF. Look out! FUN FACT: In seven career starts against the Vikings, Manning has thrown five touchdown passes and 14 interceptions, his worst ratio against any NFL team he’s played more than three times.

Got back to my winning ways last week and look to continue climb back up. Expect to see me blasting some “Started From The Bottom” by Drake after I got 5-0 this weekend.
