Free NHL Western Conference Playoff, Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/15/22

After last night, we now know six of the eight teams advancing on to the Conference Semifinals. After today, we will know all eight of them. In yesterday’s tripleheader of Game 7’s, Carolina, Tampa Bay, and Edmonton all won to survive and move on to the 2nd round. Today features two more deciding games as Pittsburgh heads to New York and Dallas is in Calgary. In five of the eight first round matchups it has taken the full seven games to decide those series. These playoffs have been as good as advertised.

We cashed our Best Bet last night as Carolina took care of business at home and held off the Bruins 3-2 to win the series. They will move on and play the winner of the Penguins-Rangers game today. Our Best Bet of the Day record is now 55-38 since the All-Star Break.

We went 3-0 betting the MoneyLine as we correctly picked the winners in all 3 of those difficult 7th games. Our overall record is now 366-206 as the playoffs continue.

We hit another Parlay for the 2nd night in a row and turned a $10 Bet into a Payout of $54.48. It’s always nice to pad the bankroll with what I call bonus money.

The run for the Stanley Cup continues today with 2 more games on the schedule. Let’s see what Vegas is thinking about the Dallas-Calgary Game 7 and try and pick a winner. I might just flip a coin on them both.

Dallas at Calgary: The series is tied at 3-3: This has been a low-scoring, tight-checking series and we should expect more of the same tonight. Dallas goaltender, Jake Oettinger has been spectacular with a goals against average of 1.69 and a save percentage of 95.4%. Those are incredible numbers and he will have to be just as good tonight. Each team has scored only 12 goals apiece in the first six games, but Calgary has clearly had the better offensive numbers. The Flames have fired off 220 shots compared to Dallas with 167. Goaltender Jacob Markstrom has been excellent for Dallas as well. So, this one is pretty easy to sum up if form holds true. Calgary is going to pepper Oettinger with shots and he is going to have to stand on his head if Dallas is going to win. Calgary has to keep the Stars from getting a cheap goal and needs the puck to bounce their way. They are clearly the better team, but the scoreboard hasn’t shown it. This is a tough one to call because in low-scoring games anything can happen. I’m sticking with the better team at home. PAPA DUDES PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on the Flames -195

3- BET PARLAY:
