Race 6 – Chandelier Stakes – 2YO Filly’s – 1 1/16M on Dirt

I love professional two year olds and that’s exactly what we got from #1 Electric Ride first time out, she’ll be very tough if she improves at all stretching out. #6 Elm Drive is much better than her last effort, she be out front and is bred to improve going two turns.

Race 7 – Eddie D Stakes – 6 1/2F on Turf

Welcome back downhill course! Give me #1 Gregorian Chant who has become a very good turf sprinter. He should like the downhill course and has been great at Santa Anita. #4 Charmaine’s Mia is lightning quick, but should have some added stamina cutting back from 1 1/16M to today’s 6.5F. Let’s use #7 Lieutenant Dan and #8 Whisper Not as well.

Race 8 – American Pharoah

#1 Corniche will be a heavy and deserving favorite. I’m going to add one more, #4 Oviatt Class who improved nicely going two turns and is the only viable closer in the field.

Race 9 – $61k Statebred MSW

O’Neill trainee, #12 Self Isolation returns off a long layoff and gets to the turf where she should improve. #6 Big Summer faces the filly’s once again after running against the boys last time out, I expect an improvement with the added furlong. O’Neill also sends out #1 Piazzetta who is coming off a bullet :34 second 3F work and should be live from the rail. Let’s close the ticket with #8 Grazeninstilettos and #11 Little Susie.
