Winx Magnificent in Apollo Stakes, Extends Winning Streak to 14

For those of you in the United States who stayed up to watch Winx make her return to the track, you weren’t disappointed! Winx’s win in the Group 2 $250,000 Apollo Stakes (1400m) at Royal Randwick last night made it 14 in a row for the super mare, matching the great Phar Lap’s streak.

Just last month Winx was nominated for Longines World’s Best Racehorse award, ultimately won by Breeders’ Cup Classic and Pegasus World Cup winner Arrogate.
