Tiz the Law Still on Top to Start Kentucky Derby Wager Pool 6

LOUISVILLE, KY – Sackatoga Stable’s Belmont Stakes (G1) champion Tiz the Law is still the top betting choice as Kentucky Derby Future Wager (KDFW) Pool 6. Wagering opens Friday, July 17, at 12:00 PM Eastern and runs through Sunday, July 19, closing at 6:00 PM Eastern.

Tiz the Law ( finished as the favorite among single betting options at the end of KDFW Pool 1, Pool 2, Pool 4, and Pool 5. The only horse to end a weekend with lower odds than Tiz the Law is Authentic. The Bob Baffert trainee took Pool 3‘s favoritism and runs in Saturday’s $1 million TVG.com Haskell S. (G1).

The biggest mover since the latest pool is Art Collector, made the 9/2 second choice after recently winning the Blue Grass Stakes (G2). The Tommy Drury trainee earned 100 points for the victory, placing him fourth in the overall standings. His inaugural KDFW appearance was in Pool, where he opened at 30/1 and closed at 20/1.

Three entries broke their KDFW maidens in Pool 6: Dean Martini (50/1), winner of the Ohio Derby (G3); Rushie (30/1), third in the Blue Grass; and Shared Sense (30/1), the Indiana Derby (G3) champion.
