Win Predictions For Week 10 in College Football

Week 9 saw three more undefeated teams (SMU, Michigan, and San Diego State) bite the dust and playoff projections continue to develop as we head down the home stretch of the 2021 season. We went a mediocre 26-13 last week and felt good about it as there were a bunch of upsets. We are now 238-79 (75%) after nine weeks into the season. We hit the Lock of the Week to run our record to 7-2 for the year. Mississippi State beat Kentucky and Fresno State knocked off San Diego State allowing us to hit both upset specials and improving our record to 9-3 in that category. Here are our win predictions in week 10 for the Top-25 and other interesting matchups. Keep in mind, these are straight up wins not involving the point spreads.

No.1 Georgia 45 Missouri 14 Ho-hum. Just another Saturday walk in the park.

No.2 Alabama 45 LSU 24 The Crimson Tide add to LSU’s worries.

No.3 Cincinnati 38 Tulsa 14 Another team unbeaten team makes it for another week.

No.4 Ohio State 31 Nebraska 17 The Huskers make it a battle before falling late.

No.6 Michigan State 23 Purdue 20 The Spartans avoid an upset and stay undefeated, barely.

No.7 Michigan 34 Indiana 10. Good thing the Wolverines have an easy game at home after a gut-wrenching loss last week.

No.8 Notre Dame 30 Navy 24 This one is surprisingly close.

No.9 Oregon 24 Washington 21 The Ducks sputter and struggle mightily but pull out a close one.

*Papa Dude Upset Special* No.10 Auburn 27 No.12 Texas A&M 24 The Tigers upset the Aggies and win a big SEC game.

No.11 Oklahoma State 28 West Virginia 21 They just find a way to win and stay in the Big-12 championship hunt.

No.14 Wake Forest 45 North Carolina 42 The Demon Deacons survive a wild one against the Tar Heels.

No.15 Baylor 41 TCU 21 The Bears prevail over the the Horned Frogs and set up a showdown against Oklahoma next week in Waco.

No.16 Houston 31 South Florida 21 One of the surprising teams of the season runs their record to 8-1, but not before a struggle.

No.17 BYU 48 Idaho State 7 Easy, peasy win for the Cougars.

No.18 SMU 38 Memphis 31 Very dangerous game for the Mustangs. I almost picked this one as an upset special.

No.19 Kentucky 34 Tennessee 21 The Wildcats get back on track in this one.

No.20 Iowa 21 Northwestern 17 They score just enough to keep from losing three in a row.

No.21 Fresno State 27 Boise State 21 The Bulldogs take another step towards a Mountain West championship.

*Papa Dude Upset Special* Hawaii 30 No.22 San Diego State 24 The Aztecs aren’t fully recovered from the loss last night and a long trip won’t help.

No.23 UTSA 42 UTEP 24 Roadrunners go to 9-0.

No.24 Louisiana 35 Georgia State 17 The Ragin’ Cajuns are pretty darned good.

No.25 Minnesota 31 Illinois 10 The Golden Gophers are still in the hunt for the West division title.
