Week 17 is in the Books in the NFL

  • NFC EAST: Combined Record 30-34
  • Dallas 11-5: The Cowboys took a loss to Arizona and took a tumble in the seeding for the NFC playoffs.
  • Philadelphia 9-7 : Huge win for the Eagles over the Washington Football Team keeps them in the driver’s seat in the NFC wild card hunt.
  • Washington 6-10: COVID and injuries got the best of the Football Team. They can only play a spoiler role now.
  • New York Giants 4-12: The Giants are really bad and getting worse.
  • NFC NORTH: Combined Record 28-35-1
  • Green Bay: 13-3 They are the No.1 seed in the NFC.
  • Minnesota: 7-9 The Vikings were very disappointing this year.
  • Chicago: 6-10 Two wins in a row for the Bears.
  • Detroit: 2-13-1 One more loss to go for the Lions.
  • NFC SOUTH: Combined Record 32-32
  • Tampa Bay 12-4: The Buccaneers barely won against the hapless Jets and move up to the No.3 seed in the NFC.
  • New Orleans 8-8: The Saints keep their slim playoffs alive.
  • Atlanta 7-9: They lost at Buffalo and it’s wait till next year for the Falcons.
  • Carolina 5-11: The collapse in Carolina continues.
  • NFC WEST: Combined Record 38-26
  • Los Angeles 12-4: The Rams won their fourth in a row and need a win over the 49ers next week to nail down the NFC West.
  • Arizona 11-5: The Cardinals snapped a 3-game losing streak with a huge win over Dallas. They finish with Seattle and still could win the division.
  • San Francisco 9-7: The 49ers had a chance to put a stranglehold on a wild-card loss, but couldn’t hold off the Titans.
  • Seattle 6-10: Another bad loss for the Seahawks. Big changes ahead for next year.
  • AFC EAST: Combined Record 32-32
  • Buffalo 10-6: The Bills win their third in a row and take a step closer to winning the division.
  • New England 10-6: The Patriots broke their 2-game losing streak and still have a shot to win the division.
  • Miami 8-8: The lack of a consistent offense finally got to the Dolphins as they saw their 7-game winning streak come to an end.
  • New York Jets 4-12: The Jets took the Buccaneers down to the wire before losing 28-24.
  • AFC NORTH: Combined Record 31-28-1
  • Cincinnati 10-6: The Bengals beat the Ravens and are in the driver’s seat to win the division. Can they close it out?
  • Pittsburgh 8-7-1: Miraculously, the Steelers still have a chance to make the playoffs, but it’s at about 10%.
  • Baltimore 8-8: Five straight losses for the Ravens and their playoff chances are on life support.
  • Cleveland 7-9: They are almost to the end of a forgettable season.
  • AFC SOUTH: Combined Record 26-38
  • Tennessee 11-5: Hard to believe that the Titans are now the No.1 seed in the AFC and finish at lowly Houston.
  • Indianapolis 9-7: The Colts lost a close one to the Raiders and they are still in a fight for a playoff spot.
  • Houston 4-12: The Texans could only score 7 points in San Francisco.
  • Jacksonville 2-14: One more loss and the Jaguars can end this horrible season.
  • AFC WEST: Combined Record 36-28
  • Kansas City 11-5: The Chiefs had their winning streak snapped and also lost the No.1 seed in the AFC going into the final week.
  • LA Chargers 9-7: They beat the Broncos and head to Las Vegas for a huge clash with the Raiders that might decide a playoff spot.
  • Las Vegas 9-7: Three straight wins for the Raiders and a very good shot at the playoffs.
  • Denver 7-9: The Broncos have got to find a quarterback in the offseason.
