Week 16 is in the Books in the NFL

  • NFC EAST: Combined Record 29-31
  • Dallas 11-4: The Cowboys have the 2nd seed in the NFC at the moment. They have the division locked up.
  • Philadelphia 8-7 : Huge win for the Eagles over the Giants keeps them in the NFC wild card hunt.
  • Washington 6-9: COVID and injuries got the best of the Football Team. They can only play a spoiler role now.
  • New York Giants 4-11: The Giants are really bad.
  • NFC NORTH: Combined Record 25-34-1
  • Green Bay: 12-3 They are moving closer to grabbing the No.1 seed in the NFC.
  • Minnesota: 7-8 The Vikings playoff hopes are barely alive.
  • Chicago: 5-10 The Bears rallied to win at Seattle.
  • Detroit: 2-12-1 They couldn’t find a way to win two in a row.
  • NFC SOUTH: Combined Record 30-30
  • Tampa Bay 11-4: The Buccaneers bounced back in Carolina and are fighting for the best seed they can get in the NFC.
  • New Orleans 7-8: COVID problems and injuries derailed the Saints. They still have a chance to make the playoffs.
  • Atlanta 7-8: They won against the Lions and mathematically are still alive.
  • Carolina 5-10: Remember when Cam Newton said he was back. Hahahahaha
  • NFC WEST: Combined Record 34-26
  • Los Angeles 11-4: The Rams won their third in a row and watched the Cardinals drop their third straight and they take over the division lead.
  • Arizona 10-5: Three straight losses and suddenly the Cardinals are in 2nd place in the NFC West for the first time all year.
  • San Francisco 8-7: The 49ers had a chance to put a stranglehold on a wild-card loss, but couldn’t hold off the Titans.
  • Seattle 5-10: Another bad loss for the Seahawks. Big changes ahead for next year.
  • AFC EAST: Combined Record 30-30
  • Buffalo 9-6: Huge win for the Bills over the Patriots puts them in the driver’s seat to win the division.
  • New England 9-6: The Patriots lost their 2nd in a row and are heading in the wrong direction down the stretch.
  • Miami 8-7: Make it seven in a row for the Dolphins and they control their own destiny in the wild card hunt.
  • New York Jets 4-11: The Jets get their 4th win and they are making progress slowly.
  • AFC NORTH: Combined Record 31-28-1
  • Cincinnati 9-6: The Bengals beat the Ravens and are in the driver’s seat to win the division. Can they close it out?
  • Baltimore 8-7: Four straight losses for the Ravens has them in danger of missing the playoffs entirely.
  • Pittsburgh 7-7-1: The Steelers were pitiful in Kansas City and probably are done.
  • Cleveland 7-8: They fought valiantly with all of their COVID problems but couldn’t quite beat Green Bay.
  • AFC SOUTH: Combined Record 25-35
  • Tennessee 10-5: Huge win for the Titans over the 49ers in a game they really needed.
  • Indianapolis 9-6: The Colts are playing extremely well after an upset win in Arizona over the Cardinals.
  • Houston 4-11: Another win for the Texans as they make it two out of three with a win over the Jets.
  • Jacksonville 2-13: They are now the worst team in the league.
  • AFC WEST: Combined Record 34-26
  • Kansas City 11-4: Eight in a row for the surging Chiefs and they have asserted themselves as the best team in the AFC.
  • LA Chargers 8-7: This team has got to be so hard on it’s fans as they lost a game they had to have against a bad Houston team.
  • Las Vegas 8-7: Two straight wins for the Raiders keeps them alive.
  • Denver 7-8: The Broncos lost a low-scoring battle for the 2nd week in a row. They have to find a quarterback somewhere.
