Papa Dudes Bottom-10 After Week 8

The Bottom-10 teams came up with a 1-8 record this week and 1 team was idle. The lone victory was attained by No.10 South Florida, and because of that tremendous accomplishment they have played their way out of this Hell. Fortunately, there is a big list of teams that are chomping at the bit to get in with this illustrious group. Let’s see if there is very much change after this uneventful week.

No.10: KANSAS 1-6: The Jayhawks rose out of the ashes and played Oklahoma even for the entire game. For that feat, they drop down two spots. Next Loss: at Oklahoma State

NO.9: ARIZONA 0-7: The Wildcats missed a big chance at a win over former Bottom-10 Washington. Next Loss: at USC

NO.8: OLD DOMINION 1-6: Welcome to the Monarchs making their debut into the Bottom-10. They are determined to prove they are worthy of this honor. Next Loss: Louisiana Tech

NO.7 UNLV 0-7: Another close loss for the Rebels and I’m moving them down one spot. Next Loss: at Nevada

NO.6 NEW MEXICO STATE 1-7: It is hardly news when the Aggies lose. Next Week: Idle

NO.5 SOUTHERN MISS 1-6: Despite being idle last week, they are a solid No.5. Next Week: at Middle Tennessee

NO.4 FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL 1-6: The Panthers drop a spot after a decent showing against the Hilltoppers. Next Loss: at Marshall

NO.3 OHIO 1-7: They lost but still drop a spot because another team played far worse than they did. Next Week: Idle

NO.2 UMASS 1-6: The Minutemen move up two spots after a tremendous 59-3 loss to Florida State. Next Loss: at Liberty

NO.1 UCONN 1-8: It is so bad at UCONN, the Huskies are taking the next two weeks off. Rumors are flying, that the players are not coming back to complete the season. Next Two Weeks: Idle
