Free Picks: NCAA College Basketball Best Bets and Money Line Selections 1/15/22

We had another great night in college basketball and the hot streak continues. We went 5-1 betting the Money Line and raised our record to 58-16 so far. And in one of the best games I’ve seen all year, Davidson hit a three at the buzzer to knock off Richmond 87-84. These two mid-majors are really good, and if they are able to make the tournament they will give somebody fits. The Davidson win boosts our Best Bet of the Day record to 14-5, which we’ll take any day. There is a full slate of action today and a multitude of games to bet. Let’s see if we can keep it rolling.

Papa Dudes Best Bet for College Basketball Today

Notre Dame 10-5 at Virginia Tech 8-7 (-7): Records can be deceiving and Tech is a lot better than 8-7. With that being said, they have lost three in a row and sit at 0-4 in the ACC. On the other hand, the Irish have won six straight and are playing very well. The worrisome part for me is gauging the law of averages. Is it time for the Hokies to break out and play a great game? I think they might win but I like that they are giving 7 points. I’m not sure they cover and it’s worth a shot on the Irish.

PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Notre Dame +7

Florida State 9-5 at Syracuse 8-8 (-2.5): The Seminoles are coming off of a big win over Miami in their last outing that should give them a boost. However, they don’t have a go-to guy and I don’t have a lot of confidence in picking them on the road. Syracuse got a much needed win over Pittsburgh in their previous game to end a 3-game losing streak, where they lost three agonizingly close games. I’m thinking they are getting ready to make their annual surge that will carry them into the NCAA tournament.
