Free Picks: NCAA College Basketball Best Bets and Money Line Picks 1/14/22

We had another great night in college basketball and the hot streak continues. We went 10-3 betting the Money Line and raised our record to 53-15 so far. We cashed one of our best bets, as Stanford upset Washington State in Pullman. But, the Navy must have had some of their players out at sea, as they sunk along, with our other Best Bet and got beat by the Colgate Toothpaste Co. The split on those two games ran our Best Bet of the Day record to 13-5 which we’ll take any day. Tonight, the slate is rather sparse, with just a sprinkling of games involving the majors, so we will try our luck with a few of the lesser known schools.

Davidson 13-2 at Richmond 10-6 (-1): Davidson has won 12 games in a going into this game with the Richmond Spiders. They are one of the best mid-majors, year in and year out, and have 4 players averaging over 12 points per game. The worry betting on them, is they are due for a loss, if you play the law of averages. Richmond is capable of beating the Wildcats but they have been somewhat inconsistent. We aren’t real confident but we are going with a mild upset in the Atlantic-10.
