Free Picks: NBA Best Bets and Money Line Selections for 1/19/22

After, to what amounted to a day off, with just two games on the schedule, we are back at it with 13 games on tap tonight. This will be a nervous night of scoreboard watching, with so many teams in action, and this league is so balanced and difficult to predict.. Yesterday we didn’t like either game as a Best Bet so we passed and that leaves our Best Bet of the Day record at 11-12. We split the two games on the Money Line and we are holding steady at 47-30 in that category. Let’s see what we have as far as betting goes for tonight. `

Papa Dudes Best Bet for the NBA Today

Indiana Pacers 15-29 at Los Angeles Lakers 22-22 (-4.5): What worries me the most about this game is the fact that the Lakers have been losing to this kind of team. The Pacers are good enough to beat them if they aren’t ready to play. All of us keep waiting for LA to take off and start rolling but they have played 44 games and it hasn’t happened yet. They are coming off one of their best games of the year after disposing of Utah on Monday. I’m going with them to keep it going at home tonight.

PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Lakers -4.5

Toronto 21-20 at Dallas 25-19 (-4): The Mavs are playing very well, having won 12 out of their last 14. This is a game against a team from the East that they need to beat, especially at home. The Raptors are a bit unpredictable and fully capable of pulling off an upset in this one. But, we are banking on Dallas to get another win at home.

PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Dallas -4
