Free Picks: NBA Best Bets and Money Line Picks 1/13/22

As hot as I am in College Basketball, I’m just as cold in the NBA. Last night was a disaster for me and the oddsmakers as well. So, it’s not just me that is on a losing streak. The Lakers blew a halftime lead and lost to a mediocre Sacramento team and that dropped my Best Bets of the Day to a miserable 5-10. And, for the first time this year, I had a losing night betting the Money Line dropping my overall record to 21-14. There is a small slate of games for tonight so maybe that will be a good omen. LET’S GO!!!

Papa Dudes Best Bet for the NBA Today

Minnesota Timberwolves 20-21 at Memphis Grizzlies 29-14 (-4) : The worrisome thing about this game is simple. Are the red-hot Grizzlies due to have a let-down, and lose to a Minnesota team, that has won 4 out of their last 5? No one is playing better than Memphis and they have won 10 straight and have won 20 out of their last 24. I’m in a terrible slump and I’m banking on another good game from the Grizzlies.

Oklahoma City Thunder 13-27 at Brooklyn Nets 26-14 (-7): I’m betting simple logic on this one. The Thunder led for most of the game before blowing it late and losing at Washington on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Nets played one of their best games of the year, burying the Bulls 138-112 in Chicago last night. Plus, the Nets have Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and Blake Griffin on their team. The Thunder have a bunch of no-names that will play hard but don’t have the experience or the talent. The question will be if the Nets bring their best game to the floor with them.
