The Red Raiders are favored by 1.5 points and I like Houston to beat them straight up. The Cougars suffered through a bunch of junk related to COVID in 2020 and were in chaos most of the season. They have their quarterback returning along with several transfers and Dana Holgorsen is a good coach. Tech has Oregon transfer, Tyler Shough at quarterback and that might be an upgrade. But I am wondering why he would transfer from Oregon to Texas Tech. Isn’t Oregon a better place than Lubbock? I’m just not sold on Tech.
