Free Pick: Tampa Bay (7-3) at Indianapolis (6-5) 11/28/21

The Buccaneers ended a two-game losing streak, beating the Giants 30-10. Indianapolis has won three straight and they are coming off an impressive 41-15 beatdown of the Bills in Buffalo. They have played their way into a chance to make the playoffs as a wild card, so this is a monster game for them. This is about the time in the season, that Tampa Bay began to assert themselves a year ago. This should be a really good game. Lets see if there is anything to bet.

TOTAL TEAM POINTS:

Indianapolis: 23.5 Total Team Points The Colts like to run the ball with Jonathan Tyler who has rushed for 1,122 yards and 13 touchdowns. The Tampa Bay defense is especially strong against the run, allowing only 78 yards per game. So, obviously, this is a huge matchup to watch in this game. Indianapolis, is averaging 28 points per game and Tampa is vulnerable against the pass. However, the Colts don’t throw the ball that well. So, I am struggling to find any angle I’m comfortable with. I’ll take Indianapolis OVER 23.5 team points with very little confidence.

Tampa Bay: 27.5 Total Team Points When the Bucs are clicking they can put up some points. Tom Brady was his usual self, (30 of 46, for 307 yards and two touchdowns), against the Giants on Monday night. I’m pretty sure the Bucs are very concerned with their inability to establish a consistent running game, which in turn, takes some pressure off of Brady. The Colts are just average on defense and Tampa should be able to move the ball. I like Tampa Bay OVER 27.5 team points.

OVER/UNDER: 52 Combined Team Points I took the over on both teams but I don’t have a ton of confidence in either one of those angles. If forced to choose, I will take OVER 52 combined points.

POINT SPREAD: Tampa Bay is a 3-point favorite If you are reading this, you are hoping we will give you some great advice, so you can place a winning bet. However, we also take great pride in being honest. This is a tough game to analyze because both teams are pretty good. Tampa Bay is obviously more talented, but the Colts are at home and will be sky high going up against the defending Super Bowl Champs. What it comes down to for us is this; Tampa has Brady and the Colts have Carson Wentz.
