NCAAF Free Pick: Oklahoma (10-1) at Oklahoma State (10-1) 11/27/21 November 24, 2021 Michael C. Johnson-USA TODAY Sports NCAAF Free Pick: Oklahoma (10-1) at Oklahoma State (10-1) 11/27/21 November 24, 2021 By: Mike Halterman email Share: share on facebook share on twitter share on linkedin email this article This is another huge rivalry game also known in Oklahoma as Bedlam. It’s a series that has been owned by the Sooners over the years with Oklahoma having an edge of, 89-18 with seven ties. OU has won six straight and 17 out of the last 21. It would appear statistically and visually, that Oklahoma State has the advantage coming into the 2021 version. But, can they pull it off with so much riding on this game? Let’s see if there is anything interesting to bet.. TOTAL TEAM POINTS:Oklahoma: 21.5 Total Team Points I can’t remember the last time Oklahoma has had this low of a team point total. But, it is certainly within reason. They are coming off a game where they failed to throw for 100 yards for the first time since 2014. They are playing a true freshman quarterback who is struggling and they have no consistency with their offense. But, their main problem in this game is dealing with a Cowboy defense that is one of the best in the nation. They are allowing 15 points and only 267 total yards per game. OU likes to establish the run and Oklahoma State’s run defense is allowing 84 yards per contest. I like Oklahoma UNDER 21.5 team points.Oklahoma State: 27.5 Total Team Points The Cowboys‘ offense is much different than in the past, as they are a run-first, pass-second team. They are balanced and average about as many yards rushing and they do throwing. They are averaging 31 points a game which is low for them, but their philosophy has changed and they are controlling the clock and playing at a slower pace. They will be facing an improved Oklahoma defense, that has the capability to play well and they will have to for the Sooners to have a chance. . I would take Oklahoma State UNDER 27.5 points, but not bet on it).OVER/UNDER: 50 Total Combined Team Points There is nothing I like about this line. I can see it a little bit above, or a little bit below. When I have no idea, I don’t bet.POINT SPREAD: Oklahoma State is a 4-point favorite Very seldom do we find Oklahoma State as the favorite in this game. Also, this is one of the biggest games they have played, maybe ever. They have a legitimate shot at the College Football Playoffs, it they win their next two games. Can they handle that pressure? Oklahoma is is the same situation. Win the next two games and then see what happens. The difference is; the Sooners are used to these types of games. Will it make a difference?DUDES WHO BET SPORTS PICK: Oklahoma State -4
