Meanwhile, the Falcons are coming back from an embarrassing 45-3 loss at Dallas last week.They will be looking to overcome that performance. Let’s check the betting angles.

Rookie quarterback, Mac Jones, is improving with each snap and they are playing at a high level. But, it is a Thursday night game, and strange things have been happening to the favorites, (for example, the Ravens put up 10 points last week against Miami). I will take the UNDER on New England scoring 27.5 team points.

Atlanta 19.5 Total Team Points: I must admit I haven’t seen one snap of an Atlanta game this year. They have won 4 games and the best team they have beaten is New Orleans. All signs point to a New England win, but I’m betting the Falcons are going to play well. I’m going Atlanta OVER 19.5 team points.

OVER/UNDER 47.5 Combined Team Point Totals: Most people think this line is about right and I would agree. I’m thinking 24-20, 27-17, something in that range. I would take the UNDER.

POINT SPREAD: New England is a 7-point favorite I’m not going to take this big of a point spread in this game. Being a closet New England fan, I just hope the Patriots win anyway they can. I think they win but don’t cover.
