This is a big game between two teams squarely in the playoff race. The Raiders are more desperate than the Colts and are in a must win situation while the Colts could still survive even if they lose. Vegas also got a big break with quarterback, Carson Wentz, coming down with COVID and being unvaccinated. There is still a chance he could play if he passes a test Sunday morning. So, when betting this one keep all of this in mind.

Las Vegas: 18.5 Total Team Points The Raiders have been up and down offensively, and have been unable to establish any kind of a running game. Quarterback Derek Carr has thrown for 4,363 yards and 20 touchdowns and has been sensational without much help. He doesn’t have a big-time receiver and as mentioned earlier, not much of a rushing threat. Yet, the Raiders have won 8 games and if they can win this one they have a legitimate shot at making the playoffs. The Colts are decent on defense, and in 5 of their last 6 games, have held opponents under 19 points. If Wentz is out, they are going to have to win the game for Indy. I’m taking Vegas slightly OVER 18.5 Total Team Points

Indianapolis 25.5 Total Team Points The strength of the Colt’s offense has been their running game. Jonathan Taylor has rushed for 1,628 yards and scored 17 touchdowns. If Wentz can’t play, he will have even more expected out of him. Rookie quarterback, Sam Ehlinger will be the starter without Wentz, and he hasn’t thrown a pass all year long. Logic says, that the Colts are going to struggle in that scenario. Regardless of who the quarterback, I like Indianapolis UNDER 25.5 points.

OVER/UNDER 44.5 Total Combined Team Points I think this is going to be a little bit lower scoring than most people think. I’ll take UNDER 44.5 points.
