Free Pick: LA Rams (7-2) at San Francisco (3-5) 11/15/21

The Rams come into San Francisco after a bad 28-16 loss to the wounded Tennessee Titans. During the week, they signed Odell Beckham, which a lot of people are questioning because of Beckham’s reputation as a me-first player. I must say it is a little confusing to me that they would take a chance on him. Meanwhile, the 49ers were blown out by Arizona, who was playing with their back-up quarterback. Let’s see what to bet.

TOTAL TEAM POINTS:

Rams: 27.5 Total Team Points They have scored 28 or more in five of their nine games. The 49ers defense has given up 28 or more points five times out of the eight games so far. This would indicate that the Rams have a good shot to score some points. But, Matthew Stafford struggled last week and he will be under some pressure to put that game behind him. Scoring that many points on the road against a division foe is always risky to bet. I like Los Angeles UNDER 27.5 team points.

San Francisco: 22.5 Total Team Points The 49ers offense has sputtered in the three division games they have played scoring 21,10, and 17. Their offense is sporadic and the Rams defense is going to be ready in this one. I like San Francisco UNDER 22.5 team points.

OVER/UNDER: 50 Combined Team Points SInce I took the under in team points for each offense, I like UNDER 50 points for these two teams.

POINT SPREAD: Los Angeles is a 3.5-point favorite If the Rams are ready to play (and why wouldn’t they be), I think they should win this one rather easily. However, there are two concerns. Will the signing of Odell Beckham be a distraction for LA and add pressure on Stafford to get him the football? Of course, he might not even play that much. The other thing is, they are playing a desperate 49ers team that is playing to keep their season relevant. They are going to bring their best to the table in this one.
