NFL Free Pick: Indianapolis (1-3) at Baltimore (3-1) 10/11/21 October 10, 2021 Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports NFL Free Pick: Indianapolis (1-3) at Baltimore (3-1) 10/11/21 October 10, 2021 By: Mike Halterman email Share: share on facebook share on twitter share on linkedin email this article The Colts are coming off their first win of the season and invade Baltimore for Monday Night Football. The Ravens are coming off a big win in Denver after drubbing the Broncos 23-7. Let’s check the matchups in this one. QUARTERBACKS: Indianapolis: Carson Wentz 88 completions out of 138 attempts for 920 yards with 5 touchdowns and 1 interception. Baltimore: Lamar Jackson 75 out of 124 for 1077 yards with 4 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. He also leads the team in rushing with 42 carries for 279 yards and 4 touchdowns. Jackson is a dual threat to run and pass and he is playing well so far. He is the key every week for the Ravens. Wentz is having an average start in Indy and will need to make some plays this week if the Colts have a chance. Advantage: Baltimore RUNNING BACKS: Indianapolis: Jonathan Taylor has 58 carries for 274 yards and is averaging 4.7 yards per game. Baltimore: Besides, Jackson, Ty’Son Williams and LaTavius Murray have combined for 3i5 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Ravens have been a good running team for a long time and they are more of the same this year. Advantage: Baltimore RECEIVERS: Indianapolis: The Colts have Michael Pittman and Zach Pascal have combined for 38 catches for 435 yards and 3 touchdowns. Baltimore: Marquise Brown (19 catches for 326 yards and 3 TD’s), Sammy Watkins ( 18 catches for 257 yards), and Mark Andrews (18 catches for 253 yards). Advantage: Baltimore DEFENSE: Colts: They have been better than average on defense, giving up 331 yards per game. They should be able to keep the Ravens under control. Ravens: The Baltimore defense has been tough against the run holding their opponents to 85 yards per game. However, their pass defense has been leaky and teams have had success passing the ball. Can Carson Wentz take advantage of it? Advantage: Indianapolis I don’t think there is any doubt that the Ravens are the better team. The issue becomes; can they beat the spread? They are a 7-point favorite. DUDES WHO BET SPORTS PICK: Baltimore -7
