NFL Free Pick: Cleveland (4-4( at Cincinnati (5-3) 11/7/21 November 4, 2021 The Enquirer NFL Free Pick: Cleveland (4-4( at Cincinnati (5-3) 11/7/21 November 4, 2021 By: Mike Halterman email Share: share on facebook share on twitter share on linkedin email this article This is a must-win game for both of these teams, especially the Browns. Both are coming off disappointing losses last weekend and need to bounce back. The Bengals lost to the Jets and that game is going to haunt them for the rest of the season. Meanwhile, Cleveland is in danger of falling completely out of the playoff hunt. Let’s see what Vegas is thinking. TOTAL TEAM POINTS: Cleveland: 21.5 Total Team Points The Browns are playing with an injured quarterback, running back, and receiver. Add to that, some nagging injuries to the offensive line and you are going to struggle to score points. They are averaging 23 points per game, but in the last three games, they have put up 14, 17, and 10. The Browns want to run the ball, but Nick Chubb is hurt, Kareem Hunt is out, and the Bengals are allowing only 94 rushing yards per game. I’m taking Cleveland UNDER 21.5 total team points and feeling pretty good about it. Cincinnati: 23.5 Total Team Points Cincinnati is averaging 28 points a game and have scored over 31 in the last three games. They are going up against a Cleveland defense that is good at times and not so good at others. In other words, they can’t be trusted. It is very reasonable to assume that they are going OVER 23.5 total team points. OVER/UNDER 47 Total Combined Team Points Cincinnati is capable of scoring 30 any week and they are getting better, so they aren’t the problem with this betting angle. It’s the productivity of Cleveland and how are they going to play offensively, that is the danger of betting the over ,because the Bengals could shut them down. Because of that fact, I would take the UNDER 47 combined team points. POINT SPREAD: Cincinnati -2.5 The Bengals should cover this line, but, can we trust them? Cleveland is in a desperate situation, and one would think, they are going to put forth whatever they have left to get a win. We aren’t sure they are good enough no matter how they play.
