Free Pick: Chicago (3-7) at Detroit (0-9-1) 11/25/21

In the annual Thanksgiving game in Detroit, we feature two of the worst and most boring teams in the NFL. This might be Detroit’s best chance to win a game as the Bears aren’t much better they are. We are featuring this game only because it is played on Thanksgiving. Let’s make it short and sweet.

Chicago: 22.5 Total Team Points The Bears have only scored over 23 points in one of the ten games they have played and that was against the Lions. Detroit is giving up 27 points in their ten games, but they have given up 16 against the Steelers and 13 against Cleveland in their last two games. Both of those teams have winning records. I’ll take Chicago UNDER 22.5 team points.

Detroit: 19.5 Total Team Points As luck would have it, in a game the Lions can win, starting quarterback Jared Goff is probably out for this one. Tim Boyle takes over for the Lions and that is not a good sign for Detroit. They have struggled offensively with Goff, so this can’t help their chances. 19.5 points isn’t very many, but I’m going Detroit UNDER 19.5 team points.

OVER/UNDER: 41.5 Combined Team Points How does a 20-17 win going either way sound for this one? That’s what I see. I’m taking UNDER 41.5 combined points.

POINT SPREAD: Chicago is a 3-point favorite The Bears should win this game with Goff unable to play. Yeah, I know Andy Dalton is playing for them with, Justin Fields probably out. But, he should be good enough to win this game. I’m rooting for Detroit to get a win, but I’m pretty skeptical they can get it.
