Free Pick: Baltimore 8-4 at Cleveland 6-6 12/12/21

On paper this should be a low-scoring, ugly AFC North football game.. The Ravens are averaging 15 points in their last four games in which they have gone 2-2. Meanwhile, Cleveland has scored 17 points or less in six of their last seven games, resulting in a 3-4 record. The Browns absolutely have to win this game, to realistically have any chance to make the playoffs. A Baltimore win, will keep their lead in the division. Let’s look and see what to bet.

Baltimore: 20 Total Team Points The Ravens are averaging 24 points but there is no argument that they are struggling in the last four games. Lamar Jackson has thrown 16 touchdowns but he also has 13 interceptions as well. They like to run the ball and the Browns’ run defense is solid. So, it would appear, Jackson is going to have to break out of his slump and make some plays in the passing game. The Cleveland defense needs to step up. I would take Baltimore OVER 20 points but I would be cautious.

Cleveland 22 Total Team Points I can’t figure out why anyone would have the Browns scoring this many points. I will predict if they score 22 they will win. But, I doubt that happens. Cleveland UNDER 22 team points and feel good about it.

OVER/UNDER 42 Total Combined Team Points It was 16-10 when these two teams met 2 weeks ago in Baltimore. Is there any reason to think it would be much different in this one? something in that vicinity. UNDER 42 combined team points.

POINT SPREAD: Cleveland is a 2.5-point favorite. Can Baker Mayfield make enough plays to get the Browns over the hump in this game? Cleveland has to win, that much is obvious, but can they score over 14 points? The Dudes are leaning towards a big, fat NO!!
