The Cardinals lost their first game of the year last week and take on a 49ers team, that absolutely have to win this game, to have any chance to win the NFC West division. That’s an interesting set-up coming into this game. Let’s see what there is to bet.

TOTAL TEAM POINTS:

Arizona: 23.5 Total Team Points At first glance, this point total seems low for a 7-1 team. They have eclipsed 24 points in every game but two. Interestingly enough, one of those games was against the 49ers in Arizona, a game in which they won 17-10. So, we know the Niners can hold them down. Arizona is averaging 31 points per game, but so much of their offense revolves around Kyler Murray, and if he is kept under control, they will struggle. San Fran is giving up 24 points per game, so they aren’t exactly dominant. I like Arizona UNDER 23.5 total team points but am not confident at all.

San Francisco: 23 Total Team Points It seems to me like the 49ers offense is hit and miss. They are averaging 24 points per game and in four of their seven games, they have scored 21 or less. Arizona held them to 10 points the first time they played, but starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo didn’t play. The Cardinals defense is underrated and they have only allowed 23 points twice in eight games. I like San Francisco UNDER 23 total team points and feel confident about it.

OVER/UNDER 45.5 Total Combined Team Points Again, Vegas has this line just about right. Very simple decision to make here. If you like the offenses to play better than the defenses take the over. If you like it the other way around take the under. Or do like me and say no thank you and find something else to bet.
