The St.Louis Blues and Colorado go at it again tonight for Game 2 of this matchup. The Avs dominated everyone on the Blues except, Jordan Binnington, who was fantastic in goal and gave the Blues a chance to steal the opener. Colorado prevailed in overtime 3-2 and try to take a commanding lead tonight in Denver.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* St.Louis at Colorado: Colorado leads the series 1-0: If you only saw the final score of Game 1, one would think that it was a close, tightly-contested game. The Avalanche outlasted the Blues 3-2 in overtime in a game they completely dominated. They outshot St.Louis 54-25, including 13-0 in 8 minutes of overtime. They won the face-off battle 34-19 and were much more physical. Were it not for the play of St.Louis goaltender, Jordan Binnington who had 51 saves, this would have been a slaughter. Not to discredit Binnington in any way, but Colorado hit the post 6 times, which means the puck was past the Blues’ netminder six times. If just half of those go in, it’s a 5-2 game and probably worse. So, how do the Blues regroup, after a game they very easily could have stolen, because of Binningtons’ brilliance? Obviously, they are going have to skate and be more aggressive. Colorado took the game to St.Louis and dominated puck possession and offensive zone time. The Blues are going to have to be a lot stronger and their forwards are going to have play much harder if they are to have a chance. Meanwhile, Colorado played a superior game and showed why they are one of the favorites to win the Stanley Cup. I think you will see an improved game from St.Louis tonight but I don’t think it will be enough. I like Colorado to win. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Bet Colorado -1.5
