The race for the playoffs continues to heat up as the schedule is nearing the final weeks. There were some interesting results last night.

Edmonton got a huge win at LA and handed the Kings a 3-2 loss to greatly improve their playoff chances. We had the Kings to win so that lowered our Best Bet of the Day record to 29-24 since the All-Star Break.

We had a tough night betting the MoneyLine and ended up going 5-5 Our overall record is now 225-133 since the All-Star break.

They have won six out of their last 10 and they can be very dangerous. Meanwhile, Carolina is only 5-8 in their last 13 games. The Hurricanes have clinched a playoff spot and they are playing for a top seed in the Eastern conference. This game has upset potential but Carolina has only lost 6 games all year at home. *PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Minnesota at St.Louis: Minnesota comes into this Central division matchup as a slight favorite. They are one point ahead of the Blues but they have played one less game. The Wild have gone 9-2 in their last eleven games, and are coming off a loss at Nashville in their last outing. They are coming into this game playing as well as anyone. Meanwhile, the Blues have earned points in their last six games, winning five of them, and losing in overtime in the 6th. They are very good when they get solid goaltending, and Ville Husso has been their guy in recent games. St.Louis is solid at home and they will be ready for this one. Boston at Tampa Bay: This is another huge game with playoff implications. These two teams are currently tied for 3rd in the Atlantic division and are trying to stay out of a wild card spot. Both teams are safely in the playoffs, but they need wins to improve their seeding. Boston is definitely playing the better hockey having won 7 of their last 10 games. On the other hand, the defending champs have lost three in a row, and are only 4-6 in their last 10 games. The hockey world will be watching this one closely to see if the Lightning can snap out of it, and get straightened out, heading down the home stretch of the regular season.
