Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/7/22

The race for the playoffs continues to heat up as the schedule is nearing the final weeks. There were some interesting results last night.

Vancouver went into Vegas and thrashed the Knights 5-1 handing them a damaging blow to their playoff hopes and crushing our Best Bet.. That lowered our Best Bet of the Day record to 29-23 since the All-Star Break.

We hit the Upset Special for the 2nd night in a row as the Capitals held on and upset the Lightning 4-3. We made $43 on our $20 bet.

We went 3-2 betting the MoneyLine with a couple of upsets ruining what would have been a good night. Our overall record is now 220-128 since the All-Star break.

There are 10 games on the schedule tonight and things are getting serious as the regular season heads into the home stretch. Let’s pick some winners tonight.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Edmonton at Los Angeles: The Oilers have a one point lead over the Kings for 2nd place in the Pacific Division, so this is obviously a big game for both teams. Edmonton has won their last 5 games and have been very consistent the past month. They are a talented and dangerous team. On the other hand, the Kings have gone 5-5 in their last ten games and they are striving to get back on track as we head down the stretch. This appears to be a toss-up between the two teams, and I’m going with LA because they are home and they need this one a little more than the Oilers. *PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Toronto at Dallas: The Maple Leafs are wrapping up a 4-game road trip, which included games in Florida, against the Panthers and the Lightning. Those are two of the best teams in the league and they came away with points in both games. Toronto can score against anybody and they are lethal offensively. They are in a solid place for the upcoming playoffs and are looking to improve their position. Meanwhile, Dallas is battling with several teams for the playoffs in the West. They currently are the 2nd Wild Card team but they need every win they can get. I’m playing a hunch that the Maple Leafs are ready to get home and Dallas will have more incentive in this one.
