Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/5/22

It was a slow night for betting as there were only 4 games on the docket.

The Maple Leafs went into Tampa and destroyed the Lightning shooting down our Best Bet. That lowered our Best Bet of the Day record to 28-22 since the All-Star Break.

We went 3-1 betting the MoneyLine with the Lightning keeping us from being perfect on the night. Our overall record is now 211-122 since the All-Star break.

There are 10 games on the schedule tonight and things are getting serious as the regular season heads into the home stretch. Let’s get some wins tonight.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* New York Islanders at Dallas: The Islanders are playing some really good hockey these days and very few people have noticed. They have won 4 in a row and 8 of their last 11, and they are a dangerous team to play if you are a playoff team, and you need every win you can get. Dallas is one of those teams fighting for a playoff spot in the Western conference. They currently are in 9th place, but are only 1 point behind Vegas for that final spot. They have been playing consistent hockey and have earned points in 22 out of 31 home games. The Stars are coming off a 4-1 loss to lowly Seattle and they should bounce back tonight. . *PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Minnesota at Nashville: The Wild are red-hot and they are rightly the favorite in this game. They have won 9 of the last 10 and are playing outstanding hockey. But, this is a big game for Nashville, and they need wins in the tightly packed race for the Western conference playoffs. Colorado at Pittsburgh: This is one of the best games of the night. The Avs are the best team in the Western conference, and the Penguins are one of the best in the East. The two teams played a couple of nights ago in Colorado and the result was a 3-2 win for the Avalanche. It is very hard for me to pick against Colorado, but this is a bigger game for Pittsburgh as far as playoff positioning goes. The Penguins are fighting to stay out of a wild card spot and are also trying to move up in the Metro division. I think they get a big win tonight.
