Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/25/22

Keep it Going Sunday fell apart with the Sunday matinee games and didn’t get much better in as the night progressed. It ended up a disaster.

We missed our Best Bet for the first time in 16 days as the Maple Leafs outlasted Washington in overtime 4-3. That lowered our Best Bet of the Day record to 45-26 since the All-Star Break.

We were an awful 4-7 betting the MoneyLine to lower our overall record to 313-167 since the All-Star break.

There is only 1 game on the schedule on this last Monday of the regular season and it is insignificant involving 2 teams just playing out the string. So, I’m going to enjoy what amounts to a night off from betting the NHL. We’ll swing back into action tomorrow.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET AND UPSET SPECIAL* Philadelphia at Chicago: These games that mean nothing are so hard to predict as teams are playing mostly for pride. The Flyers come into Chicago after a upset win over the heavily favored Pittsburgh Penguins yesterday. They are on a modest 2-game winning streak, but are only 3-7 in their last 10 games. They take on the Blackhawks who are finishing another dismal year and have lost 12 of their last 14. It’s hard to imagine them putting out an inspired effort in this meaningless game. When two crappy teams meet head-to-head, late in the season, I usually side with the team that is showing some signs of life. That would be the Flyers.
