Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/23/22

We are on a roll in the NHL as we head into Survival Saturday for Earth Day.

We managed to cash our Best Bet as the Wild continued to play very well and thumped Seattle 6-3. The win improved improved our Best Bet of the Day record to 44-25 since the All-Star Break.

We went a perfect 4-0 betting the MoneyLine to raise our overall record to 298-159 since the All-Star break.

The Upset Special was an added bonus as Ottawa went into Columbus and won in overtime over the slumping Blue Jackets.

And finally, we cashed the Parlay and turned a $10 Bet into a Payout of $61.59.

As mentioned above, this is Survival Saturday with 12 games on the schedule and playoff ramifications on the line. Let’s see if we can keep heading in the right direction tonight.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET* Nashville at Tampa Bay : The Predators are in a solid spot in the playoff race in the West, but their next four games are against teams that have over 100 points on the season. They are in the first wild-card spot in the conference with a 2-point lead over Dallas and a 4-point lead over Vegas. Nashville is coming off a big win over Calgary in their last outing, and a victory tonight would be huge. Meanwhile, the defending champion Lightning, are trying to fight off the Bruins for 3rd place in the Atlantic division in the East. They are playing better after a four-game losing streak a couple of weeks ago, and are coming off an 8-1 trouncing over Toronto, who will be their likely 1st round opponent in the upcoming playoffs. *PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* New York Rangers at Boston: This is another huge game in the Eastern conference with playoff ramifications. The Rangers are tied with Carolina for first is the Metropolitan division, and both teams have four games to go. If they finished today, New York would win the division because they have more wins. New York is playing very well and this would be a huge win tonight. The Boston Bruins took it on the chin in Pittsburgh on Thursday and they will be looking to bounce back at home tonight. They are trailing Tampa by 3 points for third place in the Atlantic division and need a win tonight. This game is a toss-up and I’m tossing a few bucks on the underdog. BEST GAME OF THE NIGHT Toronto at Florida: This is a matchup between two of the best teams in the league and they both play in the same division. Florida is in a battle for the top overall record in the NHL with Colorado and they currently have the lead. They are an offensive powerhouse and have been brilliant all year long. The Maple Leafs are having another great regular season as well, and will likely take on the Lightning in the first round of the playoffs. Toronto lost to those same Lightning 8-1 in Tampa on Thursday and they were embarrassed. They will be looking to bounce back tonight. I can’t bet against Florida, especially at home.
