Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/19/22

The new week started off with a decent start as we continue to head to the finish line of the regular season. There are a lot of things still to settle in the upcoming playoffs.

We cashed our Best Bet as surging Vancouver continues to make a move in the West. They handled the Stars 6-2 and pulled to within a point of 9th place Vegas. They are only 4 points behind the Kings for 3rd place in the Pacific and have a game at hand as well. That improved our Best Bet of the Day record to 40-25 since the All-Star Break.

We went 4-2 betting the MoneyLine to improve our overall record to 277-151 since the All-Star break

There are 10 games on the schedule for tonight, so this will be a Survival Tuesday. Let’s check out the matchups for tonight.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET* Los Angeles at Anaheim: This is a huge game for the Kings as they battle for the playoffs in the Western conference. The Kings are clinging to 3rd place in the Pacific division with a slim lead over Vegas and the surging Canucks. After tonight, LA will have 4 games left and Vegas and Vancouver will have five. The Kings desperately need to win tonight against the Ducks. Anaheim has been eliminated from the playoffs, but they are a decent team and have nothing to lose. These are the kinds of teams that can step up and beat you. I’m going with the Kings in a tight one. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Bet the MoneyLine on Los Angeles -160

*PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Calgary at Nashville: The Predators are coming off an embarrassing loss at home Sunday to St.Louis. They are in a battle for a playoff spot and they aren’t in a safe position yet. The Flames need 2 more wins to lock down 1st place in the Pacific division. The game means a whole lot more to Nashville. It is worth a shot to throw a couple of bucks on the Preds. PAPA DUDES UPSET PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on Nashville +110

*BEST GAME OF THE DAY* Boston at St.Louis: The Blues are red-hot and have won nine straight games. They are in a battle with the Wild for 2nd place in the Central division and home ice in the first round of the playoffs. They have been on a scoring rampage as of late and have scored 54 goals in their last 10 games. That is an amazing run. Meanwhile, the Bruins broke a 3-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over Pittsburgh and are trying to catch Tampa Bay for 3rd place in the Atlantic. They are one of the best defensive teams in the NHL. So, we have two contrasts in style in this game. The high-scoring Blues against the tight-checking defensive minded Bruins. I’m going with the law of averages and taking Boston as the Blues are due to lose a game. PAPA DUDES PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on Boston +115

THE REST OF THE GAMES:

Toronto over Philadelphia

Minnesota over Montreal

Tampa Bay over Detroit

New York Rangers over Winnipeg

Vancouver over Ottawa

San Jose over Columbus

Florida over NY Islanders
