Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 3/7/22

The NHL continues to be a major challenge and bettors are struggling to put 2 good nights in a row. On Sunday we did better and had a decent night. The key is if we can put 2 goods nights in a row together.

We cashed our Best Bet as the New York Rangers thumped Winnipeg. That was a fairly easy one and it improved our mediocre Best Bet of the Day record to 9-11 since the All-Star Break.

We went 5-2 betting the MoneyLine which is better and we need to keep it going. Our overall record is 74-54 since the All-Star break.

Today there are only five games on the schedule but they are mostly toss-ups so it doesn’t get any easier. Let’s hit some winners!!.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Edmonton at Calgary: The Oilers come into Calgary, needing a win in the tightly contested group of Pacific division teams that are battling for the playoffs. Calgary leads the division and seems like a lock at this point to reach the postseason. They are coming off an emotional overtime win over Colorado, and this is a game where Edmonton can sneak up on them and get a win. I would take the Oilers if the game was in Edmonton, but I can’t bet against Calgary on home ice. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Calgary

Los Angeles at Boston: The Kings are playing great hockey as they end a 4-game trip to the East. They played in Buffalo last night and shutout the Sabres 3-0. Boston is playing just as well and they are coming home from a 5-game road trip out West where they went 4-1. I’m going with Boston and fresh legs over a Kings’ team coming in after a game yesterday. Toronto at Columbus: The Maple Leafs are a tough team to bet as they are going through a stretch where they are playing inconsistent hockey. The Blue Jackets are playing well and are one of those teams that are tough to beat but just aren’t good enough to close the deal. In other words, they come up short and lose a lot of close games. I’m picking Toronto, but I’m taking Columbus in my parlay because I think there is value in picking them in a logical upset. PAPA DUDES PICK: Toronto
