We missed out Best Bet in heartbreaking fashion for the 2nd day in a row as the Flames scored in overtime to knock off the Avalanche. We’re in the middle of a slump that we are going to bounce out of soon and these games are going to start bouncing our way. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 8-11.

We went 6-4 betting the MoneyLine which is so average and it just sucks. Our overall record is 69-52 since the All-Star break.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* New York Rangers at Winnipeg: The Rangers come into Winnipeg as slight underdogs, on a line that I think will change as the day goes on. They are clearly better than the Jets and they should win this one. They are playing with a lot more consistency and reliability. The Jets are coming off of an overtime loss at home against the Stars in a game they needed desperately to win. Dallas at Minnesota: Dallas is streaking as of late, and they are making a run at knocking Nashville, Minnesota, or St.Louis out of a playoff spot in the Central Division. They have won three in a row and 8 of their last 11 and currently trail Nashville by 1 point and the Wild by 2. A win today would move them into a tie with the Wild. Minnesota has lost 7 of their last 10 including a 5-4 loss to the lowly Sabres in their last game. I’m going to take a chance on the slumping Wild to get a big win today. San Jose at Anaheim: This is an important game in the Pacific where 7 of the 8 teams still have a legitimate chance at a playoff spot. The Ducks are currently in sixth and are only three points out of the last spot, while San Jose is nine points behind. This is a must win for both clubs and neither team can get on any kind of winning streak that they are going to have to reach in order to make the postseason.
