Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 3/23/22

Maybe the NCAA Tournament was the problem for my poor showing with my NHL predictions. Last night, with no tournament action, I had another decent night of betting hockey. There were 11 games and I got the majority of them correct.

For the 2nd night in a row, our Best Bet cashed, as the Stars kept winning in the Central, and knocked off the Oilers in a game with playoff ramifications. That raised our Best Bet of the Day record to 21-16 since the All-Star Break.

We went 7-4 betting the MoneyLine, which was average at best, but better than some nights have been. Our overall record is 143-93 since the All-Star break.

There are 4 games on the schedule tonight and I don’t have the tournament as an excuse for another day. On Monday there were only 4 games and I got them all. Let’s keep up the momentum.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* New Jersey Devils at Toronto: The Devils have shown the ability to score goals lately and put up 7 on the Rangers last night. Couple that with the shaky defensive play on the back line from the Leafs, and there is the possibility of the Devils scoring2 or 3 goals. Toronto can score consistently night after night. I think Toronto will win and it could be a high-scoring game. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Toronto to win and the score OVER 6.5

*PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Pittsburgh at Buffalo: The Sabres have quietly been playing much better as of late, and they have won 4 of the last 5. Pittsburgh won last night in Columbus, and they are playing outstanding hockey as well. This might be a game where the Penguins let down a little bit and the Sabres seize the opportunity to jump on them. I wouldn’t bet much but it might be worth a shot on Buffalo.
