Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 3/21/22

I’m blaming the NCAA Tournament on my poor showing with my NHL predictions. There are three reasons:

Reason #1: I have been preoccupied and focused on that damn tournament and rushed my picks.

Reason #2: The players have been focused on that damn tournament also, especially the teams I’m picking to win.

Reason #3: The teams I’ve been picking had Kentucky, Tennessee, Iowa, and Auburn making it to the Sweet Sixteen.

Our Best Bet crashed and burned for the 4th day in a row as the Rangers beat the Hurricanes 2-0, completing a 2-game back-to-back sweep, of two of the best teams in hockey on the road. That lowered our Best Bet of the Day record to 19-16 since the All-Star Break.

We went 2-4 betting the MoneyLine which is beyond bad, and lowered our record to 132-89 since the All-Star break.

There are 4 games on the schedule tonight and I don’t have the tournament as an excuse for the next 3 days. I better get some right cause I’m running out of money.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Edmonton at Colorado: The Oilers come into this game playing some of the best hockey in the league. They have won 5 in a row and have moved up into a solid playoff position. They could cause some problems when the playoffs come around. Meanwhile, Colorado just keeps winning and has the best overall record in the NHL. This should be an entertaining game between these two very good clubs. I like the home ice advantage. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Colorado

Nashville at Anaheim: Nashville is playing at a good level right now; Anaheim is not. The Predators are likely to make the playoffs; the Ducks will not. Nashville has a ton of momentum; Anaheim has none. So, why am I thinking upset in this one? I just think the Predators are starting a 3-game swing through the West and this game looks to be the easiest of the three. They might overlook the Ducks and not be mentally focused. The atmosphere might be bad and Anaheim might jump them. I think it’s worth a shot to throw some bucks on the Ducks. PAPA DUDES PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on Anaheim +135

*PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Vegas at Minnesota: The Knights went through a rough stretch where they lost 5 in a row, but they have bounced back with back-to-back wins over Florida and Los Angeles. So, it appears they are working some problems out. They are fully capable of coming into Minnesota and beating the Wild. Minnesota is on somewhat of a roller coaster and are only 9-11 in their last 20 games. This is another game where the home team has a good shot of going down. I’m going to throw a few dollars on Vegas. PAPA DUDES UPSET PICK: Bet the MoneyLine on Vegas +135

THE REST OF THE GAMES:

Boston over Montreal

2-TEAM PARLAY:

We are going with two underdogs just to have some action.

Leg 1: Vegas at Minnesota: Bet the MoneyLine on Vegas +145

Leg 2: Edmonton at Colorado: Bet the MoneyLine on Edmonton +170

Bet $10 for a Payout of $56.20
