Free NHL Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays For 2/25/22

Finally some stability has crept back into the NHL and we are starting to pick some winners. Hockey can be a bitch sometimes because there are so many things that affect the outcome of a game. If you come out with a winning margin, you are doing well.

We hit the Best Bet of the Day as the Rangers handily defeated the Washington Capitals. That evens our record at 4-4.

We didn’t foresee the Devils going into Pittsburgh and killing the Penguins, and were surprised with Columbus handling Florida, and Vancouver demolishing the red-hot Flames. Those three losses left us at 5-3 betting the MoneyLine. Our overall record is at 32-23.

Let’s see what we can come up with for the six scheduled games on tonight’s slate.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* Los Angeles at Anaheim: This is a pick-em type game and there is some betting value here. These two teams are battling for playoff spots in the crowded Pacific Conference. Currently, the Kings are two points ahead of the Ducks. These head-to-head matchups will decide who gets in and who doesn’t. Home ice doesn’t mean much in this game and I’m going to take the Kings because they are the most consistent of the two. New Jersey at Chicago: Two good teams who are out of the playoff picture playing in the United Center tonight. The Black Hawks are favored but the Devils have a couple of impressive wins as of late including a 6-1 win at Pittsburgh last night. Might be worth a shot at throwing a few bucks on Jersey. Columbus at Carolina: The Blue Jackets are hot and worth a look in this one. They scored 6 last night at Florida to extend their winning streak to 4 games. The problem is do they have the legs left to play another great team in this back-to-back. Probably not, but they are worth considering. PAPA DUDES PICK: Carolina
