Free NHL Eastern Conference Playoff Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/26/22

Last night in Denver, the St.Louis Blues pulled a rabbit out of their hat and capped off a furious comeback, with an improbable 5-4 overtime win, to send the series back home for Game 6 tomorrow night. The Avalanche were 56 seconds away from reaching the Conference Finals for the first time since 2002. It remains to be seen how they deal with that tough loss. Tonight, the Rangers roll into Raleigh with ton of momentum and confidence after winning two straight in New York. The Hurricanes return home where they have won all six of their games in the playoffs. This pivotal Game 5 will go a long ways towards deciding who will face Tampa Bay in the Eastern Conference Finals. This is a close one to call.

Our Best Bet was looking good throughout the first 2 periods as Colorado was dominating the Blues. Then came the big rally and St.Louis made their comeback and even though I was wrong, I didn’t care one damn bit. LET’S GO BLUES!! Our Best Bet of the Day record is now 60-43 since the All-Star Break.

We went 0-1 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record is now 378-213 as the playoffs continue.

Let’s take a closer look at the New-York-Carolina matchup and see what Vegas is thinking about Game 5 in Raleigh.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET OF THE DAY* New York at Carolina: The series is tied at 2-2: This has been a series of tight checking and excellent defense to no one’s surprise. Both teams are playing hockey the way they play hockey, and the games have been decided by a lucky bounce here, and a great individual play there. There is no reason to expect anything else tonight. The Rangers have held Carolina to a total of 6 goals in the 4 previous games, but they have only scored 8 themselves. Goalie, Igor Shesterkin has been outstanding in this series and has returned to his regular season form. He stopped 30 shots in Game 4, including several spectacular saves. New York has received scoring from several different players and will head into Raleigh with a ton of confidence. The Hurricanes are getting plenty of shots, but they aren’t finding the back of the net. Their power play has been non-existent in this series and they are still looking for their first goal with the man advantage. They aren’t getting outplayed and they are hoping the home building has the same magic as it has so far. This game will be close and we know that. It is tempting to bet the under 5.5 total goals because every game in the series has been under 5.5 goals. I love the way both teams play and this should be a classic. Give me the Hurricanes and the home ice advantage. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Bet the MoneyLine on Carolina -160
