Free NCAA College Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays For 2/10/22

College Basketball is heating up, as teams are making runs and jockeying to get into position for the NCAA tournament, heading into the last games of the regular season. Tuesday night saw six Top-25 teams lose, and last night four more bit the dust, so ten out of 25 teams have lost already this week and we have only played three days.

We had Texas Tech over Oklahoma last night as our Best Bet and the Sooners shot us down by socking the Red Raiders in the mouth and winning 70-55. That dropped our Best Bet of the Day record for 2022.

We went a respectable 12-3 betting the Money Line and our record is 336-76 (82%) in that category.

In the Dudes newest feature we went 2-4 betting the spread on games involving Top-25 teams and we are 21-14 in that category.

So, to sum up the night, it was very mediocre. Time to get back on the horse and get after it again tonight.

Papa Dudes Best Bet for College Basketball Today

Arizona State 7-14 at Washington 12-9 (-1.5): The Huskies are playing better and had won three in a row before Stanford thumped them in their last game. Arizona State is coming off 3 straight games against ranked opponents where they played their best ball of the season and beat UCLA. I’m playing a hunch that they will have a letdown and the Huskies can cover the small spread. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Washington -1.5

GAMES INVOLVING TOP-25 TEAMS:

#7 Duke 19-4 (-7) at Clemson 12-11: Duke was upset at home in their last outing and I’m not sold on them as being an elite team. Any game on the road is tough when you are Duke and this one will be on different. Clemson has lost their last two and six of the last eight, so they aren’t exactly tearing it up. I’m sticking with the Blue Devils. PAPA DUDES PICK: Duke -7

#23 Murray State 22-2 (-14.5) at Tennessee State : Murray State has entered the Top-25 for the first time this year, and sometimes teams struggle in their first game as a ranked team. They are on the road and that line is a little high. I would worry about a back-door cover in this one but if I to bet, I would take the home team. PAPA DUDES PICK: Tennessee State +14

Pacific 7-16 at #2 Gonzaga 19-2 (32.5): Hardly ever would I take a team to cover 32.5 points, but Gonzaga might be an exception. Pacific is coming off a great performance at USC, where they took the ranked Trojans down to the wire, before losing late in LA. Obviously, USC was flat and not ready to play, but it shows that they are capable of playing a decent game. Gonzaga is playing well but that is a lot of points. PAPA DUDES PICK: Pacific +32.5

#4 Arizona 20-2 (-6) at Washington State 14-7: This game has upset potential written all over it. The Wildcats are coming off a great 3-game stretch where they beat Top-25 ranked, UCLA and USC, and then knocked off in-state rival Arizona State. Washington State is 7-3 in the conference and have won 4 in a row including back-to-back road wins at Stanford and California. The barn in Pullman will be rocking, but Arizona is a very good basketball team. PAPA DUDES PICK: Arizona -6

#3 Purdue 21-3 (-3) at Michigan 12-9: This is another really tough game to decide on. Purdue is one of the best teams in the country and Michigan is not. But, the Wolverines played the Boilermakers tough at East Lafayette a week ago before falling 82-76. So, they are fully capable of beating them in Ann Arbor tonight. The place will be rocking and this should be a high energy slugfest. PAPA DUDES PICK: Purdue

#19 San Diego 13-11 at St.Mary’s 19-5 (-15.5): The Gaels are coming off a tough loss at Santa Clara earlier in the week which halted their 7-game winning streak. Again, we are looking at the spread here and deciding of 15.5-points is too much. They might be looking ahead to the next game which is a matchup with #2 Gonzaga. I have no doubt they will win but . . . . . . PAPA DUDES PICK: San Diego +15.5
