Free NCAA College Basketball Best Bets and Money Line Selections For 2/1/22

Yesterday proved to be a very profitable betting day as we were very close to having a perfect day. Only an upset loss by Boston U. kept us from that elusive perfect beting record.

We hit our Best Bet even though I wish it would have been under different circumstances. My beloved Oklahoma Sooners were 6-point favorites at home against a hot and more talented TCU team. I was hoping OU would win, but fail to cover the six. And, they failed to cover, but lost the damn game, severely damaging there tournament chances. The good news is the ticket cashed and our Best Bet of the Day record improved to 26-14 since January 1st.

We went 9-1 betting the Money Line and our record is 243-52 (82%) for 2022.

There are some really interesting matchups tonight and I’m going to be cautious as we are in the dog days of the season and this is when upsets occur.

Papa Dudes Best Bet for College Basketball Today

Mississippi 11-10 at LSU 16-5 (-13): The Tigers are struggling and they are in a rut. They have been playing good teams but they haven’t had a lot of success. Tonight they take on the Rebels who are coming off of an easy win over Kansas State last Saturday. LSU has had trouble scoring as of late and I definitely think they will win but that spread might be hard to cover.

PAPA DUDES PICK: Mississippi +13

OTHER GAMES TO CONSIDER:

Texas 16-5 at Texas Tech 16-5 (-4.5): I’m merely playing a hunch here but Tech might be playing up this game too much. It is Coach Chris Beard’s return to Lubbock after leaving Tech for the greener pastures of Austin. Sometimes, the emotion and hype gets the best of the home team. If Texas can survive early, I think they can cover this spread and might even win.
