Today we go to the final two play-in games to get into the NCAA tournament. Let’s get the ball rolling and see if we can hit a couple of winners.

Papa Dudes Best Bet for College Basketball Today

Rutgers 18-13 vs. Notre Dame 22-10 (-1) in Dayton, OH: This is an easy spread (just pick the team you think will win and you cash), but trying to decide who will win is not so easy. Neither team finished up the regular season very well and there just isn’t much to go by. They are similar in so many ways. I’m going to take a chance on Notre Dame because they are another one of those schools that play pretty well in this tournament. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Notre Dame -1

Wright State 21-13 (-3) vs. Bryant 22-9 in Dayton, OH: Give yourself a pat on the back if you can name these two teams mascots and what city they play in. I was going to take Wright State because I think the Horizon conference is a little bit better than the Northeast. But, then I remembered that Bryant has the best player playing for them. Peter Kiss is his name and scoring is his game. He is averaging 23.4 points per game and he might be the difference in the game. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Bryant +3
