Free NCAA Basketball Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays For 2/7/22

Nothing makes me madder at myself, than picking a team that I 100% can’t trust. And that’s exactly what I did yesterday. I picked Missouri State over Loyola Chicago at home, fully knowing that they are a team that chokes in the big game. It is a total slip in judgment and it cost me.

The Missouri State debacle dropped our Best Bet of the Day record to 30-17 for 2022.

We went a respectable 7-1 betting the Money Line and our record is 305-68 (82%) in 2022.

In the Dudes newest feature we went 2-1 betting the spread on games involving Top-25 teams and we are 12-7 in that category.

Papa Dudes Best Bet for College Basketball Today

Holy Cross 6-15 at Colgate 11-11 (-17.5): We are dipping into the Patriot League tonight and taking a shot at a point spread that is too good to pass up. Holy Cross has won their last three games against three of the best teams in the conference and they are playing well. The bad news is Colgate has been just as impressive in recent outings. However, they have been beating up on the cellar dwellers. It wouldn’t matter who they were beating to me. 17.5-points is a lot to cover.

PAPA DUDES PICK: Holy Cross +17.5

OTHER GAMES TO CONSIDER:

UTEP 14-8 at North Texas 16-4 (-10): This is a big game involving two teams from C-USA. North Texas is playing well and they lead the West division of a very competitive conference. However, UTEP is a tough out and 10 points will be hard to cover.

PAPA DUDES PICK: UTEP +10

GAMES INVOLVING TOP-25 TEAMS:

#7 Arizona 19-2 (-13.5) at Arizona State 7-13: Of course, Arizona is the beat team in this one. However, there are a lot of things that points to Arizona State keeping this one close. It’s a big rivalry game and the Sun Devils are coming off of a triple-overtime upset of #3 UCLA on Saturday night giving them some much needed momentum. In addition, Arizona won two hard fought games over the Bruins and #19 USC in their last two games. Will they have a letdown? I think they win but Arizona State is worth taking a shot on the points.

PAPA DUDES PICK: Arizona State +13.5

#10 Kansas 19-3 (-1.5) at #23 Texas 17-6: This is another toss-up game in the brutally tough Big 12. The Jayhawks got two big wins last week in Lawrence while the Longhorns split their two games. Texas relies on their defense and they struggle scoring at times. They will need to keep this game in the high 50’s-low 60’s to win. I’m going with the more consistent team, but I’m definitely passing on betting this one.
