Free NBA Western Conference Playoffs Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 5/4/22

The Boston Celtics had their backs to the wall in Game 2 and responded with a convincing 109-86 win over the Bucks to even that series at 1-1. And, in Memphis, Ja Marant put on a Michael Jordan like show, scoring the final 15 points in the Grizzlies thrilling 106-101 win over Golden State. Those two teams head to California tied at a game a piece. We have two more games tonight so let’s get started..

We cashed our Best Bet last night as we correctly thought that Boston would shoot better and bounce back with a big win over the Bucks. That raised our Best Bet of the Day record to 89-46 in 2022.

We correctly predicted both games and went 2-0 betting the MoneyLine and our overall record stands at 467-229 since Jan.1st.

Let’s look at the Philadelphia-Miami game and see what we think for the the battle tonight.

Dallas at Phoenix (-6): Phoenix leads the series 1-0: The story of Game 1 was no one contributed much for Dallas except Luka Doncic who scored 45 points and did everything possible to keep Dallas in the game. Phoenix got excellent production out of Deandre Ayton (25 points) and a much healthier Devin Booker who chipped in with 23. They finally resembled the team that won 64 games in the regular season. The Suns never trailed in the game, shot 51% from the field and outrebounded Dallas 51-36. More disturbing for Dallas is the fact that they have now lost their last 10 games against Phoenix. But, despite all of that, Dallas had some bright spots. Doncic was tremendous and Max Kleber also played well with 19 points. It’s not a stretch to expect Jalen Brunson to play better tonight as well. The Mavericks didn’t bring their best game but they still managed to make a run in the 4th quarter and that has to give them some confidence going into Game 2. I’m not ready to count the Mavs out, but I’m going to stick with the Suns tonight even though it is shaky. PAPA DUDES PICK: Phoenix -6
