Free NBA Western Conference Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 4/28/22

Two more first round series were settled last night and we could wrap up an additional three today. We have three games sixes tonight in what promises to be another great night of NBA basketball, but a potential nightmare for prognosticators like me. All three of these games are going to be tricky and hard to figure out. We have two games is the Western Conference and one in the East.

We split our 2 Best Bets yesterday as Milwaukee thumped the Bulls 116-100 to cover and allow us a winning ticket, but Golden State wasn’t able to cover the 9-point spread in their 102-98 win over the Nuggets. Our Best Bet of the Day record now stands at 87-44 in 2022.

We did have a good night betting the MoneyLine as we went 2-0 to raise our overall record to 461-228 since Jan.1st.

We hit a Parlay for the 4th time out of the last six nights, turning a $10 Bet into a Payout of $59.58.

Let’s look at the two Western Conference games tonight and see what Vegas is thinking.

*PAPA DUDES BEST BET * Phoenix (-2) at New Orleans: Phoenix leads the series 3-2: The Suns came out in game 5 and dominated the Pelicans the way that most of us were waiting to see. That sends them back to New Orleans with a 3-2 lead and plenty of confidence to close out the Pelicans tonight. There are rumors that Devin Booker could play in this game as well, even though he is listed as out. If he is healthy and can play, that would be a big boost for the Suns. In game 5, Chris Paul was brilliant and Deandre Ayton continued his dominant play inside as the Suns flexed some muscle. The Pelicans have surprised everyone with their solid play and they won’t go down quietly. They have too many good players and their home crowd will be ready for this one. I’m going with Phoenix, for one very simple reason. They are the better team. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Phoenix -2

Dallas (-1) at Utah: Dallas leads the series 3-2: This is essentially a pick-em game. Some betting lines favor Dallas and some are going with Utah. The Mavs have been the more impressive team in the series, especially when you take into consideration, they have played only 2 games with Luka Doncic in the lineup. They won game 3 in Utah without him, and he is ready and healthy for game 6. Meanwhile, Utah could be without the services of Donovan Mitchell who is their best player. Even, if he does play, he won’t be at full strength. The Jazz have been favored in 4 of the 5 games and failed to take advantage of Doncic’s injury, and they are taking some added heat for that. Personally, I don’t think Dallas has been given the respect they deserve. They are a sleeper team in the playoffs if they can get through this series. I’m taking Dallas tonight. PAPA DUDES PICK: Dallas -1
