Last night was a mixed bag as we hit the Best Bet of the Day evening out our record to 13-13 for the season. The Suns rallied late, just as we predicted, because they were rested and the Mavericks were playing their 5th game in 7 days. However, the Money Line went to Hell when the heavily-favored Golden State Warriors lost at home to Detroit. We went 1-2 on the night and our record stands at 56-37 in that category. There are a lot of games on the Friday night schedule so let’s see what we can come up with.
Papa Dudes Best Bets for the NBA Today
Miami 29-16 at Atlanta 19-25 (-1.5): This one jumped out at me and I usually trust my first instincts. Yes, I know the Heat are banged up and the Hawks have won two in a row and are starting to play better. I just can’t go against a team that has a record that much better than their opponent. How high is my confidence level? How about a 4 out of 10. I considered several others and almost took the Nets over the Spurs, but this is the one I kept coming back too.

Oklahoma City 14-30 at Charlotte 25-20 (-8.5): Hornets are playing well and the Thunder are coming off of a tough loss. I like the Hornets to cover this spread.
