Free NBA Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 3/24/22

It was another tough night of betting the NBA. Who saw Detroit beating the Hawks by 21 points or the Knicks thumping the Hornets by 15 in Charlotte? Just typical of what is going on night after night.

We did manage to hit our Best Bet as the red-hot Celtics continued at an elite level, and blew Utah out of the gym, 125-97. That raised our Best Bet of the Day record to 56-30 since Jan.1st.

Because of the aforementioned upsets, our MoneyLine bets were mediocre and we finished 6-5 dropping our record to 340-170 for 2022.

Tonight there are only 5 games on the schedule and let’s go for a perfect night.

Papa Dudes Best Bets for the NBA Today

Cleveland 41-31 at Toronto 40-32 (-3.5): The Cavs have been up and down as of late, and they are coming off a bad loss at home to the Lakers in their last outing. They are pretty unreliable at this point in the season. Toronto ran off a 5-game winning streak recently, but they are 1-2 in their last three, including a loss to that same mediocre Lakers’ team. The Raptors are currently in 7th place in the playoff race and trail the Cavs by one game and are only two games behind 5th place Chicago. This is a big game for them and when you add in the home court, I’m going with them as the pick. PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Toronto -3.5

*PAPA DUDES UPSET SPECIAL* Chicago 42-30 (-1.5) at New Orleans 30-42: (1.5): The Bulls are slipping farther and farther down the playoff ladder as they come into this game. They have lost 7 of 10 and they need to gain some momentum in the last 10 games of the season. When healthy, the Pelicans have been a handful of late, and they are trying to hold on the 10th and final spot in the West. I think this one is worth a shot as my upset special.
