Free NBA Picks, Best Bets, and Parlays for 2/4/22

It was just an average night in the NBA as we roll into the dog days of the season.

We went back to one of our go-to teams and they came through as we hit our Best Bet without a worry. The Miami Heat traveled to San Antonio and had a comfortable lead from start to finish as they beat the Spurs 112-95 and easily covered the 4 points. After a terrible start we have turned around our Best Bet of the Day record to 26-16 for 2002.

Betting the Money Line was saved when the Clippers won at the buzzer over the Lakers allowing us to go 4-2 for the night upping our record to 133-65 for the year.

There are 9 games on the schedule today and, at first glance, they look as challenging as ever. Let’s go find some winners.

Papa Dudes Best Bets for the NBA Today

Atlanta 25-26 at Toronto 27-23 (-1.5): Both teams are coming off a win last night. The Hawks beat Phoenix, the best team in the league, last night and have won 8 out of their last 10. Meanwhile the Raptors have won 4 straight and are playing very well also. I’m going to play the Raptors because of the small spread and the fact that the Hawks have to travel and might letdown after their impressive win over the Suns last night.

PAPA DUDES BEST BET: Toronto -1.5

New Orleans 19-32 at Denver 28-23 (-5.5): The Nuggets are coming home after a 6-game road trip in which they went 4-2. They go up an improving New Orleans team beat the Pistons on Tuesday night. I look for Denver to come out on the home court and play well and cover a relatively small spread.

3-Team Parlay:

Let’s go with a Money Line pick and two picks using the spreads. Let’s see if we can hit it.

Leg 1: Toronto (-1.5) over Atlanta: Bet Toronto (-1.5) I’m figuring the Raptors will have fresher legs than the Hawks in this one between two teams who played last night.

Leg 2: Denver over New Orleans: Money Line -260 The Nuggets should win this one.

Leg 3: Philadelphia (-1.5) over Dallas: Bet Philadelphia (-1.5) Dallas is missing some key pieces and Joel Embiid should dominate the paint.
